ECNS ETC. Offering a Variety of New and Classes for Fall 2018

ECNS ETC. at Epiphany Community Nursery School has a new full schedule of classes and activities for children from 0 to 8 years old, Monday through Saturday. All the classes are taught with the same educational philosophy as held by the long established Upper East Side nursery school, Epiphany Community Nursery School.

For Fall 2018, there is a gamut of new classes that are fun and educational. Some challenge the mind and others challenge the body. Children 3 to 8 can get some amazing workout time in the 2,100 square-foot, fully equipped, and child friendly gymnasium. In classic gymnastic, children learn how to safely tumble, roll, and jump while learning how to use the trampoline, balance beam, bars and mats.

Parkour allows children to explore what their bodies can do in a safe environment. Classes like Super Hero Training, Ninja Training and Circus Gymnastics are innovative and new approaches to exercise that combine gymnastics, parkour, calisthenics and imagination. Chess (with Chess at Three), LEGO Build (with C3Brix), Art to Go, and Ciao & Chow (an Italian language and cooking class) are just a few of the classes that will give children's minds and creativity a workout.

Children under 3 and their caregivers have many options to choose from as well. Little Learners is a 90 minute class with the structure of school that includes free play, art, snack, and story time without the stress of separation. Little Yogis is a yoga class that may benefit both the caregiver and child. Music & Movement introduces little ones to instruments like shakers, tambourines, and bells. Tumbling Tots introduces toddlers to some of the basics and apparatuses of gymnastics. Moving Stories is an interactive story time especially designed for 2 year-olds.
