Highlight’s Let’s Grow book series’ purpose is to enrich the bond between parent and baby through reading activities that can be implemented during any daily activity, such as meal and bath times.

In mid-October, Highlights for Children, a national magazine production company dedicated to serving children and their developmental needs through a range of magazine, puzzle, and craft products for children newborn to 12 years, is releasing two new products: Let’s Grow and a bilingual version of High Five.

Let’s Grow is a book series of 13 monthly shipments for ages newborn to 2 years, of two padded board books and a surprise companion item which focus “on the emotional, cognitive, and social growth of the child,” says Isaac Bendele, Highlights for Children marketing associate. “[Let’s Grow] is about developing the parent-child interaction from the very beginning.”

Let’s Grow is currently available for pre-order on the Highlights for Children website.

The magazine corporation is also launching High Five Bilingüe, a bilingual version of High Five, a magazine for children ages 2-6. It provides both Spanish and English skill building activities meant to assist bilingual learning for “a child that [speaks] mostly English trying to learn Spanish and a child that [speaks] mostly Spanish and trying to learn English,” Bendele says.

The bilingual magazine will be available in mid-October.

Highlights for Children is committed to assisting children develop into their best selves. “Highlights has really grown from one magazine being produced out of one household,” Bendele says. “But we still have the same values as when the families first started.”
