Knorr to Deliver Free Local Fresh Produce in Manhattan for National Farmers Market Week

#KnorrtoMyDoor is bringing urban to rural for a week!

To celebrate National Farmers Market Week, Knorr is making local fresh produce deliveries on a first-come, first-serve basis until this Thursday, August 9, to Manhattan only. How do you receive a fresh, delicious meal straight at your door step? Three easy steps:

  1. Tweet #KnorrToMyDoor + the carrot emoji to @Knorr and sign up using the provided link.
  2. Enter your information and select the Knorr One Skillet Meal of your choice: either Lemon Chicken with Barley or the vegetarian option, Rustic Italian White Bean with Farro.
  3. Place your order and wait for the free, fresh, and delicious food to arrive!

In addition to the Knorr One Skillet Meal of your choice, the mobile farmers market will bring a choice of protein and fresh, local produce. It’s that easy!

“At Knorr, we’re encouraging people to discover new flavors and cooking skills through simple hoem cooking and the seasonal produce available at their local farmers markets,” said Brian Critz, Knorr marketing director at Unilever, North America, in a press release. “We’re excited for people to try Knorr One Skillet Meals, which pair organic ancient grains, like farro and barley, with the best of the season’s local vegetables like zucchini, cherry tomatoes, and carrots.”

The fresh food fun doesn’t stop there. On Wednesday, August 8, Knorr is hosting a pop-up farm stand at The New York Botanical Garden (NYBG) Farmers Market complete with tastings, chef demonstrations, and of course, free food! The Market is located in the Bronx near the Mosholu entrance of the Botanical Garden.

Knorr One Skillet Meals can be prepared using one skillet in only 30 minutes. They contain no artificial flavors, preservatives, or colors and are available nationwide for a suggested retail of $2.99.
