Laurie Berkner is Performing a Livestream Concert on Father’s Day

The kids' music icon is back for some Father's Day fun.

Children’s musician Laurie Berkner has made families smile her entire career. Now, she is giving families some joy on Father’s Day with  a live-streamed concert on her website to raise the spirits of families on Father’s Day.

Berkner will perform songs like “I Love You Daddy,” “My Family,” and “Superhero,” all a testament to the awesome dads out there that deserve recognition and some fun with their kids this Father’s Day.  Brady Rymer, The Laurie Berkner Band’s bass player, is going to sing a duet of the children’s song “There’s A Hole In The Bucket” with Berkner.

Due to the coronavirus, Berkner has had to cancel many of her upcoming, in-person concerts. That hasn’t stopped her from performing and entertaining families around the world. She has been performing live concerts called Berkner Breaks every weekday at 10am on her Facebook page for her fans regularly throughout the pandemic.

Berkner Breaks are interactive and upbeat, with Berkner saying hello as people join the stream. She also invites her fans to play along with her and frequently gives encouraging messages, plays fan requests, and gives birthday shout outs.

“I can’t wait to be able to bring this experience of a live concert to families watching from home, with some added fun that we can have because it’s a virtual show. It feels amazing to be able to do something joyous.”

The Father’s Day concert starts streaming at 6pm on Sunday, June 21. Family tickets cost $20, with the ability to purchase need-based tickets for families who need a discount.

There are also a limited number of Meet and Greet Add-On Package Tickets for $80. Participants will have a two-minute one-on-one meeting with Berkner after her show, along with a virtual photo opportunity with Berkner, a recording of the video session given three-days after the show, a chat room for parents waiting to meet with Berkner, and live tech support.
