Dr. Susan Herbst Meisler attended the Sophie Davis School for Biomedical Education, and graduated from Stony Brook School of Medicine in 1984. She completed her internship, residency, and chief residency at Schneider Children's Hospital, Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Meisler joined Pediatric Associates of Southern Westchester, P.C. in June 1987. She is a member of the Westchester Medical Society, a fellow with the American Academy of Pediatrics, and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Westchester Medical College in Valhalla, New York. She has been board certified with the American Board of Pediatrics since 1989, and recertified three times. Dr. Meisler has three grown children, and lives with her husband in New Rochelle.
Dr. Hilary Smith graduated summa cum laude from the State University of New York at Albany prior to attending New York University School of Medicine, where she received the Hippolyte M. Wertheim Award for academic achievement and graduated AOA. She completed her internship and residency at New York University, Bellevue Hospital. Dr. Smith joined Pediatric Associates of Southern Westchester, P.C. in July 2006. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and has been board certified with the American Board of Pediatrics since 2006. Dr. Smith resides in New Rochelle with her husband and two sons.
Dr. Lisa Mandelker graduated from George Washington University in Washington, DC, prior to attending Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her internship and residency at Schneider Children's Hospital, Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Mandelker joined Pediatric Associates of Southern Westchester, P.C. in July 2008. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and has been board certified with the American Board of Pediatrics since 2008. Dr. Mandelker lives in New Rochelle with her husband and two young children.
Dr. Debra Etelson graduated from Cornell University in 1991 and New York Medical College in 1995. She completed her pediatric residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Cornell Medical Center. In 1998 Dr. Etelson joined Children's Physicians of Westchester, the faculty practice of New York Medical College and was an Attending Physician at the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital for 10 years. She is also an assistant professor at New York Medical College. Dr. Etelson, a board certified member of the AAP, has published papers on Childhood Obesity and Children's Physical Activity. In 2012, she launched her blog www.mdmommy.com. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Westchester Chapter of Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and she is the diabetes/celiac disease consultant for the Westchester Celiac Sprue Support Group. Dr. Etelson joined Pediatric Associates of Southern Westchester in May of 2013 and resides in New Rochelle with her husband and three children.
